Public Events

Tours of the Whitpain Public School 1895 building are normally on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 1PM to 4PM except Nov to Feb, and by appointment.  Member docents will be available to give tours. The Schoolhouse is usually staffed and open every Thursday from 10AM to 12PM if you have questions.  Our library is open to the public by appointment.  Please contact us for more information.  




The PUBLIC IS WELCOME to attend the following events.

Programs start at 7:30PM unless otherwise indicated.  Please join us at the Schoolhouse at 799 Skippack Pike in Blue Bell, PA 19422 or location as indicated.  The programs are followed by light refreshments.

Program: The History and Future of the Ambler Savings Bank. Ambler Savings Bank is celebrating its 140th anniversary in Ambler. It is one of the oldest mutual banks in Pennsylvania, and it has been a major supporter of the rejuvenation of Ambler through its support of local organizations (including WVHS) and initiatives. Mr. Brown has been with the bank for 40 years.
